As a local SGI motor license issuer, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service, and we are looking for someone who can continue that tradition.
Position Overview:
In this entry-level position, your primary responsibility at the front desk is to provide exceptional customer service by delivering clear and accurate responses to customer inquiries promptly and professionally addressing concerns. You will also play a crucial role in understanding and explaining insurance products, specifically basic motor vehicle insurance offered by SGI.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Providing exceptional customer service: You will be the first point of contact for our customers, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally. Your goal will be to exceed customer expectations in every interaction.
- Understanding and explaining insurance products: You will need to have a solid understanding of the basic motor vehicle insurance offered by SGI. This includes knowledge of coverages, exclusions, and limitations. You will be expected to explain these to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintaining accurate customer records: You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in customer accounts. This includes updating contact information, processing payments, and documenting communication history.
- Building positive relationships: You will be tasked with establishing rapport with customers and fostering trust. By proactively identifying their insurance needs, you will recommend suitable solutions and build long-term relationships.
Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to those who have completed SGI motor license issuer training.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to handle inquiries with patience and professionalism.
- Proficiency in using insurance broker management systems (APPLIED) and other relevant software.
- Ability to analyze customer issues, research solutions, and provide accurate information.
- Meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and clear explanation of complex information.
- Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions while maintaining ethical practices.
- Willingness to learn new things, stay updated on industry changes, and adapt to evolving technologies.
