Job Position: Commercial Insurance Administrator

Position Overview:

In this position, you’ll process and manage accounts according to strict agency standards, keeping everything running smoothly. This includes maintaining client files in industry-specific software (EPIC & Policy Works) and handling transactions like renewals, endorsements, and updates.

Beyond these core tasks, you might provide general administrative support, handling incoming and outgoing mail. Your analytical skills will come in handy as you review control reports, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Account Management: Process and manage commercial and agricultural insurance accounts following established agency standards.
  • Client File Maintenance: Utilize EPIC & Policy Works software to maintain and update client files, including processing renewals, endorsements, and other policy transactions.
  • Policy Documentation: Prepare and distribute accurate and timely commercial and agricultural policy documents to clients.
  • Accounts Receivable Support: Assist with managing aged receivables to ensure timely client payments.
  • Certificate of Insurance Generation: Generate Certificates of Insurance electronically through Policy Works for clients.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support as needed, including managing incoming and outgoing courier mail.
  • Data Quality Control: Review control reports to identify and address discrepancies such as policies without transactions, unissued service summaries, un-invoiced policies, and duplicate downloads.
Qualifications:
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Maintain exceptional organization and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Be a self-starter with initiative and resourcefulness to solve problems and identify solutions independently.
  • Minimum requirement of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Hold a Level 2 Insurance License (or equivalent).
