Co-operative Hail Insurance is a farmer-owned cooperative, so they understand your risks and have provided trusted hail insurance solutions since 1947.
When you choose Co-op Hail, your policy becomes effective at noon on the day after the application is submitted. All coverage ends on October 31st at noon. The latest date for obtaining insurance is August 1st at noon. The liability limit per acre ranges from a minimum of $50 to a maximum of $400.

Rain and Hail
Experience top-tier crop protection with Rain and Hail, a Chubb company. Offering safeguards against physical damage caused by hail and/or fire, it includes additional coverages such as fire department service charges, transit coverage to the initial storage location, catastrophe loss award (for most coverages), and replanting coverage (for most crops).
Coverage is provided on an acre-by-acre basis. Even if only a portion of the farm is affected, payment may still be eligible for the damaged area while the rest remains unaffected.
Municipal Hail Insurance
Established in 1917, Saskatchewan Municipal Hail Insurance has over a century of experience, providing continuous coverage for landowners or lessees of Crown-owned land in Saskatchewan.
SMHI provides crop insurance that offers indemnities ranging from $30 to $425 per acre. The coverage period is from May 15th to October 31st or until the crop is harvested. To be eligible for coverage, you must be the owner of the land and insure all the crops planted on it. New applicants are required to enroll by June 30th.
