In this role, you will be instrumental in understanding the unique insurance needs of individuals and their businesses by providing them with tailored solutions. We seek an individual who is well-versed in the technical aspects of insurance brokerage and committed to establishing and nurturing strong client relationships.
Position Overview:
To succeed in this role, you must possess a strong understanding of insurance products and a keen ability to assess clients’ needs. You should be able to build and maintain strong relationships and have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Adherence to regulatory standards and staying updated on industry changes are also key.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Client Consultation: Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs, assess risk factors, and provide personalized insurance solutions.
- Policy Analysis: Evaluate and analyze various insurance policies to determine the most suitable coverage options for clients based on their requirements.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, addressing inquiries, and offering proactive advice on insurance matters.
- Sales and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling insurance products to existing clients, contributing to business growth and client retention.
- Risk Assessment: Assess clients’ assets, liabilities, and potential risks to recommend appropriate coverage levels and risk management strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with industry regulations and ensure that all insurance offerings and client interactions comply with legal and ethical standards.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and transactions in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, new insurance products, and market developments to enhance knowledge and provide informed recommendations to clients.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 Insurance License (or equivalent certificate).
- Consulting and/or Customer Service skills.
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Experience in the insurance industry is an asset.
- Motivation and willingness to experience a fast-paced environment.
